Wii Cables For Hdtv
connecting wii to hdtv?
I have a 16” magnavox hdtv in my room… and I’ve been trying for days to play it on my t.v… but to no avail. i plugged in the standard av cables (red, white, and yellow) cables that the wii comes packaged wiht, but nothing shows up on the screen. I also purchased component cables (blue, green, and red) to see if those would work, but they also were unsuccessful. i know that for a non-hdtv, you just put the t.v. on VIDEO and plug i the cables, but my t.v. does not have a VIDEO 2 button. If anyone can help, please do, and if it’s not too much, can you simplify the step of what I should do, because I’m not too savy with this sort of thing. thanks in advance!
1. Check all the cables to make sure they are in properly.
2. Make sure the AV (audio video) cable are in the “Input” section of the AV plug-ins.
3. Check to see if it says “video 1″ or “2″ and change the channel on the TV by either going down the list of channels, pushing “input” or “component” or “auxiliary” or something of that sort. Or if your tv is older, change it to channel 3 or 4.
4. Make sure the AV cable in the Wii is plugged in securely.
5. Call the Magnavox company by looking at the back of the TV for phone number and model number.
