Wii Media Center Extender
Options for a Network media center?
I am looking into connecting my media to my tv somehow, specifically so I can watch downloaded videos. My computer is windows vista. I also have a external hard drive which I plan to store the majority of my media. I know the Xbox 360 has a media extender, but I already have a Wii, and don’t really want to buy another game console. What are my options. Be as creative as you can. I also have a wireless router. Please give details

Well I was gonna say get a PS3 since it also has a built-in Bluray player. I currently use a PS3 as a media receiver, which I love to death. I have Windows Vista, a Linksys wireless router, and I use TVersity to stream/convert all of my videos on the fly from my computer to the PS3 and it’s been for the most part flawless.
As for other options, I can’t really give any input, but I do know that good media servers will cost you around $200-$300, so why not just fork in another $100 and get a PS3/Bluray player? =)
