Xbox technical know when a customer has tried the "Towel Trick"? Will they cancel the warranty?
So my Xbox is going to shit and now has red lights, (Fortunately I had less than three years does not cost me anything to get it fixed under warranty. My friend suggested that if he tried the towel "Trick" wrapping in a towel, go to "cook", then let cool. The idea is to provide a temporary solution, sometimes for hours, sometimes for several weeks. I am a little reluctant to do because I have towels tower fear it will cause even more damage, I also heard that the technician Xbox can tell if someone tried the trick and will void the warranty, is this true? This class sucks because I have also heard that people who have sent their consoles for repairs got back, but has the red lights again after a few days. Help me? (
Your best bet is to send it, I did it twice, and each time my new Xbox back in a week or less from the time they called. Do not know about this towel trick, but if only temporarily, Why bother to risk, you can be sure of getting a job around. My only second lasted more than a year before I had to go back for my third!
