Xbox Internet Through Laptop
How I can connect my Xbox to the internet through my laptop?
I have DSL, I have a wireless router connected to the modem, I have one computer connected directly to the router and a laptop connected wirelessly. I connect my Xbox to my laptop to connect to Xbox Live but when I can enable ICS on the laptop, told me that the default address used for Internet connection sharing is already in use, even if the computer and the laptop is configured to use the IP address "192.168.0.102 earlier to avoid blocking the default port ICS (192.168.0.101). What I can do to solve this problem?
It's a bad idea. Its latency through laptop is horrible, especially in wireless. Run a connection XBOX port, or leave the money in a wireless card for it. Internet Connection Sharing This rarely works right in many normal PC – and is not really for nothing. If you keep trying – you have to assign a new subnet. If the router is 192.168.0.1 and your laptop is also trying to use this map IP addresses in the same range – then go to conflict. I would like to change the flow rate in the laptop to 10.10.10.1 – 10.10.10.254. You should be able to get work. More or less what you are doing is to tell the laptop to share your Internet connection wirelessly with laptop Ethernet connector – Which then connects to the Xbox with a crossover cable. A straight cable (normal ethernet) probably will not work. You can also connect to a hub together. Once more – This is not the best way of doing things – and I think you will be satisfied with the results, in addition to monopolize laptop. Good luck.
