Do I have the Red Rings of Death?
Okay, I just got on my Xbox 360 and it said that I had a system error. It repeated the message in different languages below, and that the bottom of the Screen it said “E73″. My Xbox 360 did not have three illuminated red rings, just one on the fourth players light, and Im not sure what to do. The xbox,com/support does not have anything about only one illuminated ring. What do I do?? Do I have the RRoD?
According to http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=484726 it says that it’s a hardware error with your ethernet port.
Does this happen everytime you turn it on, or every so often? IF everytime, then I suggest you call their support after making sure all wires are intact and connected, seeing as they’d know best the issue and the solution to fixing it, and know whether it should be sent in or not. It IS a hardware error, but it’s not the Red Rings of Death. Red Rings is when there’s a serious hardware error with something vital, such as the motherboard, and it cannot function fully. Red Rings is a definite problem where you’ll have to send it in, but for this issue you’re probably going to have to call their support.
