Xbox Open Nat Configuration
How I can configure the NAT settings to open on Xbox Live?
Well, in about September, one of my friends I play with a lot of Xbox are already able to connect. I turned my router on and off and ran back. Then, around December it had stopped working and we do can be connected (can not connect some or cats in Call of Duty 4 to play). Yesterday I tested my Xbox Live and until the outbreak conenction Your type NAT is strict. People in the networks of this type of NAT may not be able to adhere to certain games or listen to others while playing online. For the best online experience, you need NAT settings open. So I was wondering, is there anyway to solve the problem. I disconnected and then reconnected the router, but still does not work. How do I open the NAT? Note that only with this person that I can not connect. I have 14 so please try to speak in a language they can understand. Thanks in advance.
I was enjoying this same problem since 2005 when I was playing Conker Live and Reloaded … still deal with it so far. Good to know that I'm not alone. The only way to "unlock" your NAT is to enable UPnP in your router. This will open the connection, but if by any chance be the same as me (Linksys WRT54G) contribute only half the time, although the Xbox say open.
