Xbox Open Tray Fix
How do you fix an “Open Tray” Error on the Xbox 360?
My xbox 360 gets the Open Tray Error about.. Maybe every 3 weeks. I’m tempted to take it apart, but i’m not really mechanically inclined. The first time i got this error, i tapped the top of the xbox about 10 times. It finally worked.. But now it wont. Is there anything i can do without destroying my xbox, or sending it back?
Generally (in my experience) this relates to the DVD overheating because of the awful design and construction of the XBox. Usually the fault goes away if you let the XBox cool down but reoccurs when its gets too hot again.
Microsoft sold you a box of crap, they know it and they really don’t care.
