Streaming video from the PC to the Xbox 360 without being connected to Xbox Live?
I just moved and I have no home internet. So I can not start Sign in to Xbox Live. so I decided to watch a movie from my PC using my 360, just plug the Ethernet cable back from my PC to the Xbox 360 im not using my router, tried to open the video file and tells me I need an update from Xbox Live? I downloaded the upgrade option for the 360 media, and I've never had a problem with streaming video before me. Im just to verify that you have to be on Xbox Live to stream video from your PC? or am I missing something?
Everyone once in a while "re-download" optional update this medium. Maybe you just want to again for a reason possibility. Otherwise, you should not have a transmission problem without XBL.
