Xbox 360 media remote code for Acoustic Solutions LCD26761HDF?

I have bought a 26″ Acoustic Solutions LCD26761HDF television from Argos, and all is working brilliantly (for the price of £199 I would definitely recommend!) I have an Xbox 360 (which I’m using for a DVD player) so bought the official Xbox 360 media remote – is there a way/ does anyone know the code to use the remote to control my television too?

Got this info straight of the US Xbox website and is what i used on my Acoustic Solutions 32″ TV to find my TV code that enabled me to use my remote with my AS TV,

I will tell you now theres no code to enter with this make of TV that i know of anyway, it would take weeks to go through the ones microsoft has listed and Acoustic Solutions isnt even listed so none might work, so i suggest you use the scan function which is stated below

To scan for a TV code:

#1. Turn on your TV and point the remote toward it.

#2. Press and hold the TV and OK buttons simultaneously for two seconds.
All buttons on the remote will then light up for two seconds, after which only the numeric TV buttons (1–12) will remain lit.

#3. Press the CH+ or CH– button to send a series of off commands to your TV. Repeat until the TV turns off.

Note:

Give your TV enough time to respond to the off command after each button press.

Some TVs take more time to react to off commands than others.

#4. Press the TV button to save the code and exit.

All buttons on the remote will blink three times to confirm the code.

#5. Press the TV button again to restore full TV/Xbox 360 operability.

Note

If, after setting the TV code, you find that the remote is not functional or has incomplete or inaccurate TV functionality, scan for another code.

I had to do it a few time to get the remote functioning properly, use the channel buttons CH+ & CH- (up & down, e.g. up, down, up, down, up, down, or up, up, up, down, down, down, ect. try different combos until it switches itself off, mine didnt go off for about 30 sec maybe just be patient and keep pressing buttons but give it time to respond aswell

Or try the codes 0050 or 0056, got it of some site not sure if it will work for the 360 remote but still worth mentioning anyway
