XBOX 360 Error Codes
If there is a problem with the Xbox360 The LEDs in the ring of light flashing in a particular model.
The model also performed a survey on this issue. Some models are numbered error codes which will provide more information about this problem. The numbered error codes described below their corresponding LED code.
Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 are flashing red – The AV cable can not be detected
TRY
1. Make sure the AV cable is correctly connected Xbox 360 console.
2. Disconnect the AV cable to the Xbox 360, reconnect the cable AV for Xbox 360.
3. If four red lights continue to flash, try to clean the metal part of the AV pack with a dry cloth. The metal is so that connects to the console. Carefully wipe the metal area and try again AV Pack.
4. If the AV cable is correctly connected but the four lights still flashing red, replace it with another AV cable if you have one.
Sections 1, 3 and 4 are flashing red – General Hardware Error
It is strongly recommended to check the secondary error code XBOX360 This will give you a better idea of what is causing its RROD.
TRY
1. Try restarting the console.
2. If restarting the console does not resolve the problem, follow these steps:
Turn off the console.
Disconnect all power and AV cables from the console.
Unplug the power cord from the outlet.
Firmly reconnect all cables.
Turn on the console.
3. If these steps do not resolve the problem, turn the console, remove the and turn on the console. If the 3x Red LED error no longer occurs, turn the console and reconnect the hard drive, then turn the console.
4. Also examine the lights on food. When you turn the console, the light from the power source should illuminate green even if the three lights on the RoL flash red.
Sections 1 and 3 are flashing red – Overheating
Alternatively Overheating can be caused by the console locking up or "freezing" after a certain period of time. Lockups that occur at a point in a game are generally problems with the game itself and not caused by overheating.
TRY
1. What Xbox 360 cool.
Note: You may have to wait several hours for the console to cool enough. Do not switch the console when the console is hot.
2. Make sure the console has sufficient ventilation and the fan is running. For more information on ventilation, see "Additional Information" section.
SUGGESTIONS FOR PREVENTION
To help avoid this problem, take the following Precautions:
1. Do not block ventilation openings on the Xbox 360.
2. Do not put the Xbox 360 in a bed, sofa, or any other soft surface that may block ventilation openings.
3. Do not put the Xbox 360 in a closed space such as a library, a library or stereo cabinet, unless it is well ventilated.
4. Do not place your Xbox 360 console near sources of heat such as radiators, heaters, stoves, or an amplifier.
Never place the console in the freezer or cold weather OUT
Some people think this might help "fix" an overheating console, in fact, could cause even bigger problems. electronic devices such as console are made to run in and near room temperature, extremely cold temperatures can often cause as many problems as extreme warm temperatures (such as overheating). Also, if the console is in a dramatically cold area during the race, the temperature difference between the hot console and cold air can create condensation which in turn cuts the console making the situation worse. Condensation will happen more quickly if the console is overheating due to the higher temperature difference. In short … DO NOT.
A more aggressive Solution to overheating is to improve the cooling system of the console. The best solution is to replace thermal paste. If you try this, do so at your own risk. If your console is still under warranty, you should contact your MS for a replacement before attempting to repair it yourself.
