b. If the modem is not connected to any device, get a network cable and connect one end to the modem and the other end into the WAN router.
2. Check if the connection is successful in turning on the router and modem. The WAN light on the router indicate a connection should be successful in transforming green.
3. Connect your PC to the router with a network cable.
4. Turn off your XBOX. Then connect the network cable into the router and the other end into the network port on the back of your Xbox.
5. Turn on your Xbox and start enjoying the XBOX Live
Connect to Xbox Live with a cable network to another part of your computer:

"A network of Wall-Plugged expansion kit
"An active cable connection
What to do:
1. If the modem is already connected to a router, go to Step 4. Otherwise, do the following:
a. If the router is connected to the computer, disconnect the cable to the computer and connect to the WAN port on the router.
b. If your modem is not connected to any device, connect the WAN port on the router using a cable network.
2. Check the connection by activating the modem and the router. A green light on the WAN router indicates a successful connection.
3. Connect your PC to the router with the cable network.
4. Connect a wall socket extension a network router and connect to an outlet.
5. On the play with the Xbox, plug the network cable into the other wall connected to the expansion and the other end the network must connect to the network port of the Xbox, which is in the rear.
6. Turn on your Xbox and start playing on Xbox Live.
